Office Workers-Stand Up For Your Health !
A Public Health England report recommends we should : -

  • Try to stand/walk for 4 hours a day
  • Seated or Standing work should be broken up
  • Sit-Stand Desks were recommended
  • Posture and movement needs to be checked regularly
  • Employers should promote this healthy practise

Back Care Awareness Week

Many of us sit for hours at our desks without moving, adding to the problem of our aching backs.

Ideally we should get up from our desks for at least 2 minutes in every half hour.

Using the correct office chairs, desks, monitor risers, wrist rests and foot supports can also help.
